There are several hotels, restaurants and shops providing home-grown organic vegetables and fruit in a thriving community. Momchilovtsi enjoys snow and sun, organic produce and crystal clean air, and a mild climate with a Mediterranean influence. It is also only a 20 minute drive to Smolyan, the nearest town.

The road access to/from Momchilovtsi is already very good and its location benefits from the international road which passes the village by 3 km giving greater access to Greece from Momchilovtsi and Bulgaria.
